Product Information
One of the greatest heavyweight fighters of all time, Mike Tyson is a legend beyond just boxing. He entered the cultural lexicon thanks to his otherworldly personality in and out of the ring. In his professional career, he amassed a 50-6 record and held every heavyweight title at some point. He often held multiple titles concurrently. Since his boxing days ended, he has become a Hollywood star thanks to his engaging personality. Looking back on his storied career, it's hard to envision a more iconic look in the 1980s and 90s than Tyson wearing black boots and black trunks. This large framed display features a designed image of Tyson about to land a punch to the head of James Tillis in a bout at the Civic Center in Glen Falls, NY, on 5/3/86. The then-19-year-old Tyson won in a unanimous decision. Coupled with the image is an autographed pair of black Everlast trunks. Finally, it's finished with two inches of black suede mat inside of a custom black wood frame. The image measures 42" x 30", giving the entire framed piece a total size of 46" x 34". Tyson's silver paint pen signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five-Step Process.
