Box format
- The 1981-82 Topps Hockey Card Set consists of 198 standard size cards originally issued in either an East or West box. Each box was a set of 132 cards. Cards #1 to #66 were identical in both boxes. Cards #67 to #132 contained players specific to that conference, so each of these numbers comes in both an East and a West version, and features a different player. The one subset for the 1981-82 Topps hockey cards is the team leaders (46-66).
