1986 Topps "Garbage Pail Kids" 5th Series Wax Box with 48 Unopened Packs. One of the most popular toys of the 1980's was the Cabbage Patch Kids dolls. Their popularity led to fights in stores at prime X-mas shopping days with adults acting more like kids than those they left at home. There were six '60's Topps Batman series. There are ten sets dedicated to the three Star Wars movies... no less than 15 different series dedicated to Garbage Pail Kids were produced from 1985 through 1988! Irreverent, abusive and just darn right mean are some of the parodies of the beloved dolls. The public criticism probably just fueled sales. Offered is a 1986 Topps "Garbage Pail Kids" 5th Series wax box with 48 packs still housed inside. Mild to moderate wear exhibited throughout.
