Overview
The Series 1 base set consists of 225 cards, with the first 180 forming the core short set, followed by 45 Team SC short print (TSC) cards. The backs of these TSC cards feature a special productivity rating, calculated using the formula: At Bats / (RBI + Runs + HR), reflecting how efficiently players generated runs. The top five players at each position, including designated hitter (DH), were included in this subset. These cards were exclusively available in Series 1, with one TSC card per pack.
