Overview
2000 Upper Deck is a 540-card set, released in two 270-card series. Dubbed by some "The Blue Monster," Upper Deck Series One was released in December, 1999, while the second series (known officially as "Series Two: Jersey Edition") was released in July, 2000. There are no notable rookie cards.
350 1999 A Piece of History 500 Club Hank Aaron bat cards were randomly seeded into first series packs. In addition, Aaron signed and numbered 44 copies. Also, a selection of A Piece of History 3000 Hit Club Hank Aaron memorabilia cards were randomly inserted into second series packs. 350 bat cards, 350 jersey cards, 100 hand-numbered, combination bat-jersey cards and forty-four hand-numbered, autographed, combination bat-jersey cards were produced.
