Overview
- Brilliant Illusions will be China's eighth Scarlet & Violet set, starring Milotic ex from Surging Sparks. It will release on March 13th. As usual, booster packs will come in 5-card.
- The set will feature cards from 2024's Twilight Masquerade, Shrouded Fable, and Surging Sparks. China has been releasing compilation sets since 2022 to catch up with the rest of the world; they started with Sun & Moon.
- Carmine will receive a brand new Special Illustration Rare in the set that hasn't released anywhere else in the world. It will remain exclusive to China, like all of their alternate artworks that have released since 2022.
- Brilliant Illusions will also see the release of a special package that comes with three of the set's 5-card booster packs, one bonus card, and one coin.
- The card you receive will be one of the following reverse holos (either Poke Ball or Master Balls) or one of the following - Double Rares. The Poke Ball to Master Ball inclusion ratio is 99:1, making the Master Ball reverse holos very hard to pull.
- The coin will be one of the following. The first two sets have equal pull rares, whereas the gold coins are 99x as rare.
