UFC, or Ultimate Fighting Championship, trading cards are cards relative to baseball, basketball, football, and hockey cards. UFC sports cards may be purchased individually or in a pack, box, or factory-sealed case. UFC sports cards are also available as NFTs (non-fungible tokens).
History of UFC Cards
The UFC was started in 1993 by Art Davie and Bob Meyrowitz with the goal of creating an accessible and entertaining type of fighting. Topps was the first card manufacturer with exclusivity to produce UFC cards and did so from 2009 to 2020. In 2021, Topps was replaced by Panini America. To make UFC cards and releases more exciting, Panini has created instant on-demand UFC cards, which are released after a big fight for 24 hours. In 2021, Panini and the UFC began selling their NFT UFC cards, creating the first-ever NFT trading cards.
